Nice small Museum about City of Winters history. Very informative. Located in old cinder block building that was once an office for Army Corps of Engineers during construction of Monticello Reservoir. Current exhibition about Japanese American presence in Winters.

This tiny museum right around the corner from all the restaurants and wine tasting in Winters of a little hard to spot and definitely worth the visit. If they had a little better signage then they would probably have more visitors to this small but interesting little museum. Centered around the printing press and the old weekly newspaper, there are plenty of photos and local history to absorb and enjoy.

Great historical insight into the Monticello dam, and in the town of Monticello, where livelihoods, family ranches, and businesses were lost to eminent domain. Very very sad how the people of Monticello and the area were treated.
