The show was probably the largest one I've been to, but it was also the most crowded. If you are one of those folks that can navigate thousands of other people, children, and strollers moving as a mass easily, then this show is for you. There was a great variety of vendors, and plenty to experience if you could move to the side without getting swept up in the crowd. Also, a heads up to anyone that's never been, tickets are $2 more than what they say they are, and parking is $20 or more for the event. Also, there's only one way in and out of the entire show, so once you've made it to the end, you've got to navigate back through everyone again.

This deer/turkey expo was a joke!!! Supposedly over 1000 booths this year but it was probably 80% junk that wasn't even hunting related! A bunch of mattresses, pillows, sparkly girls shirts, coffee, candy and glittery cups............. seriously how does that even happen. I used to come every year with a list of stuff to buy, but I'm never going to another one there.

Idk what's happened in the last couple years but these have went from hunting shows to pretty much boutique clothes and junk two booths with guns maybe three with bows and one guy selling fishing poles wasted money just to fight crowds and leave with beef jerky lol

Always a great time in Birmingham. Plenty of outdoor related products. We make a day of it. Go to the deer show and finish up at The Cheesecake Factory!!!! Grab a friend and go shopping.

It was great for years. But this was my last time there. Way too many vendors that are not deer related. Too many vendors that want your phone number and email address. Way too far to drive to be hassled.

This thing is a joke,there were at least 50000 people there and the lines for almost everything a mile long not to mention you could hardly walk,and everybody trying to hustle you,it was like being hassled by 20 car salesman at once,never again.
