Little, peaceful, well kept park

Its the closest park to me but it could use some repairs. I was able to put by baby in the baby swing only once before it was broken off. It would be nice if the city could install some cameras to catch and hold accountable the people who destroy our playgrounds. There's also people smoking at the park sometimes. More police presence would be beneficial. At least 3 drive throughs a day, I'm certain would lower vandalism.

This park is pretty cool during the day or in the mornings but it feels a little shady (unsafe) as it gets darker. There is not much to do and when it rains the playground which is surrounded by sand becomes flooded up to the sidewalk. There is a basketball court. There is also some kind of church right in the front of the park. It has 3 pokestops and 1 Pokemon Gym.

Like most parks in El Monte, it's ready for a facelift. It has a field large enough for soccer or football a some courts for basketball. An activities center for the summer and a young staff that's there to help. Bathrooms are fine and come in handy. It would be nice if the money from the towers went directly to the park.

It's a small park that is mostly aimed for children but I think it's a nice place to spend an evening at. There's lots of games for children to play in. There's also lots of tables and seats for people. There are enough trees to provide shade for people. Besides that, there's not much else to do at this park.

This park has always been a hotspot for gangs and drug dealers. As far back as I can recall! The later in the day it gets the more dangerous it becomes to be there! Unless you live around there I suppose and know everyone that hangs out there and you don't mind the crime that goes on around there. EMPD is constantly trying to bust someone on the Pen Mar side of the park, near the basketball courts. That's where most of the activity goes on it seems! Don't get me started on the restrooms! Anyways, all in all, this park could use more police vigilance and it might be ok..
