I really enjoyed the intro to permaculture class I took with Zia Energetics. This is such a warm and welcoming family and the course took place in their home and own permaculture garden. It is easy to imagine they are old friends. Jesse is extremely knowledgeable about the subject and has a true talent to address and answers all question during the class, there is so much to know! I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in wanting to learn about this subject or become more connected with the local community involved in these projects. Thank so much for a wonderful time!

I have attended three of Jesse and Johanna’s classes. Two mushroom/plant foragings and just recently the Kitchen Herbalism. They have great breadth and depth with both the plants and mycology as well as their uses. I would highly recommend. Very warm and welcoming couple as well.

We just took the cob building class and absolutely loved it! We wanted a fun, nature-inspired activity and this class was PERFECT!!! Jesse is incredibly knowledgeable and we learned so much. We are so excited to take another class, especially the foraging classes 🙂
