Wow, I cannot rave enough about this place! My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend and we didn't even want to go home because we felt so at home the entire time. The property is gorgeous, and the room was quiet, charming, cozy, and meticulously clean. There were delicious muffins in the fridge, big recliner chairs, a relaxing jacuzzi, and the bed was so insanely comfortable. Being able to feed the friendly reideer was super cool as well! All in all, this was the perfect recipe for a romantic getaway. We'll be back!

We rented one of the suites for a night as a stop between Seward and Denali NP. It was nice to spread out after nights in hotel rooms. It was helpful to have the muffins and cereal stocked in our room for a quick breakfast. The owners were very interesting to talk to while my daughters enjoyed feeding their reindeer. We didn't need to use the laundry facilities, but they were located right near the room. Very convenient if needed. Ask for an upper floor if you are very sensitive to noise, but we would definitely recommend staying here and would choose this place again!

We rented 2 of the 2 bedroom suites for our extended family of 8. Two kids, 7 &10, were along and did well. One of the suites had a big box of toys, but not the other - so if that matters to your group, be sure to specify. The neat thing though was getting to pet the reindeer during their feeding time with the owner. The kids also hand fed them greens. It was a nice, quiet place just outside of town. Almost wish we got to stay more than one night. The muffins and cereal continental breakfast were a great surprise too! This would be a great place to stay multiple nights with the well-supplied kitchen in the suite to cook. Just wish the bedrooms had a couple more well placed outlets - charging everyone's cameras, phones, tablets etc was a bit of a logistical challenge.

I came here to do a training seminar. Since I do training on renewable heat pump technology, this place suited me well. Rooms were nice and well kept, big rooms and very comfy "home like" feel to the place. Owners were very friendly and since I am a rockhound, a trait shared by the owners, we had a great time comparing rockhounding stories. The owners gave me a map and description of were I may go to find some nice local agates and other specimens as well as a loaned pair of rubber boots, a bucket for my collected specimens and a rock hammer. The rooms were stocked with breakfast material as well. I loved this place and hope to be able to come back. They have a huge solar panel array and try very very hard to practice renewable habits and energy conservation. If you are traveling here you owe it to yourself to stay here. You will like it. There are bins under the sink for recycling and a can for food scraps for the pet Reindeer in the pasture. You can talk to them and they will come up to you and let you pet them! It is a very refreshing and a nice change from corporate travel regimes. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!!

Our room, Aurora Suite, was gorgeous. Very spacious with king bed, full size sofa, kitchenette, whirlpool tub. Continental breakfast was delivered to our room. Great food. The Inn has 5 reindeer on the property which are fed twice a day. Guests are encouraged to help feed the reindeer. Very welcoming and friendly owners and staff. Reasonable price and close to many attractions. Talkeetna is a doable as a day trip. A hidden gem.

I stayed one night on my way to Denali with my trip to Alaska. I rented one of the Knik Junior King Suites. The room had plenty of space and was very clean. It had a nice large shower and the room also had a jacuzzi. These rooms are in a separate building from the full suites and other available room which made things nicely spread out. The area was quiet and secluded so that you could get a good night's sleep. The wi-fi worked great and there was satellite TV. You also have a small refrigerator which contains some items for a continental breakfast, and a microwave. There was also a fireplace in the room. The building I was in had a separate room with a computer and printer if you needed it.||||Make sure you join them when they feed their pet reindeer twice a day. You get to get up close and pet them even.||||I would definitely recommend staying here is you are looking for a good place in the Wasilla area.
