Not a 4 star hotel.
At best, 3 stars.
Super nice staff but the restaurant is very average, drinks are strong.
This hotel needs a huge SoCal face-lift.
My hallway has peeling wallpaper chips out of the woodworking.
Room was fantastically clean but furniture is badly needed to be replaced.
Location is great, staff is awesome but Marriott needs to give some TLC to this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton Mission Valley, and I can't express enough how grateful I am for the outstanding service I received. During a challenging time, the staff (especially Epi) went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and supported. Their kindness and attentiveness truly made a difference in my experience. It's refreshing to encounter such genuine hospitality, and it’s a reminder that the world needs more good people like them. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm and inviting place to stay. Thank you, Epi and Sheraton Hotel, for making my visit so memorable!

We had a 15 day stay at the Sheraton Mission Valley, the staff members did everything possible to make our experience special and comfortable. Everything from check in (Victor was wonderful), the room was beautiful and comfortable, and breakfast which catered to our allergies with no problem. We would like to give a special shout out to Alice at the breakfast buffet, she is amazing!!!

My father and I stayed at the Sheraton Mission Valley San Diego Hotel. The stay was very pleasant. What made the stay extremely enjoyable was the service from Ripa and Alice. They made me and my father feel like family. They were very attentive to our needs at the hotel. Since I am a Titanium member at Marriott, I have access to the lounge which Ripa and Alice did a great job maintaining and welcoming guests.

The room I got had a TV that did not work and half the channels had no signal (even after staff came to fix it), both mattresses were squeaky spring mattresses that were fairly uncomfortable, rooms were smaller than I expected. That being said, the staff was fabulous, super kind, helpful, and all around above and beyond with everyone. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and functional. The lobby has water, fruit, and other goodies that rotate throughout the day. The gym has a little of everything and is very clean and tidy.

Parking lot is super sketchy.
People who work here are very friendly and helpful.

This hotel must be paying to maintain its stars. It's too old and damaged to be one of the most expensive in the area. It's unbelievable that they don't even provide water. Sure, they give you one complimentary bottle of water per day, thanks for that, and then leave another one in the room that seems to have come straight from the French Alps because it costs $6 USD. 😱😱😱😱🤣🤣🤣 They are seriously overpriced, as if they were going bankrupt. Breathing in that hotel might cost you money. I couldn't stand something so awful and old. There are better options in the area that don’t have the budget to pay for a 4-star rating but are clean, decent, and not as outdated. I don’t understand why people stay in a place so unfair in terms of price and quality.

The pillows seem recycled from another hotel—can you imagine the amount of dust mites?
The front desk staff, who are mostly Mexicans, save this hotel with their amazing customer service. Thank you latin people 🫶☀️

Probably one of my favorite places I've stayed in the past few years. Club room, fast elevators and 3 of them, nice pool. Everything has just been nice. Nothing crazy fancy but that's perfectly fine. And Tamera at the front desk has been very helpful and pleasant to talk to. All the staff has.
