I came for the Asian Comics exhibit and absolutely LOVED IT!!! So much to see I'm circling through it twice. The lovely lady running the Comic gift shop was super helpful and even recommended some murals and places to see while I'm in town. I'm so glad I made the day trip here for the city, museum and exhibit. I'll review the museum restaurant separately.

Went here again recently with my wife on a date and enjoyed it immensely. It’s not large but that means you can take your time and enjoy the various pieces and installations more deeply. I love their plein air pieces and the Tibetan Buddhist mandalas.

Went for the Dias de los Muertes festival and loved in. Great addition to the community. I only attended the free portion of the museum. Based on that experience I'd recommend it to someone who lives in the area but not someone who is from out of town. I also am not sure I'd be willing to pay for the rest.

31 years in Santa Ana, and it was my first time going. I was really excited for this trip. We went for the manga/anime exhibition. It was beautifully done! They had a lot of history to go with it.
The museum had other exhibits, from oil paintings, to historical artifacts The museum isn't super huge, however we did spend a good amount of time there. I would have loved spending more time, however, we had two little ones that were done for the day.
Very affordable trip too, and parking is 6 bucks flat rate. We did pay in person, however if you are a Santa Ana resident there are discounts.

We were there are AREAA.org Orange County Chapter Installation Gala. It was outdoors and was a bit cold despite the heat lamps being provided. We spent the majority of the time outside enjoying the courtyard but not indoors at the museum.

There was an Asian Comic exhibit that was really cool and also a Head Hunter exhibit and Precious Gem exhibit. It was a very nice way to spend a few hours. Everyone was friendly.
