In an era where so much is done online and remotely, The Nesting Spot is an exceptional resource for parents and parents-to-be who are looking for in-person resources and community. Cozy and welcoming, they offer a wide range of support groups & different classes both pre and post-natal, and for those with little ones. Becoming a parent can be confusing and overwhelming, so places like The Nesting Spot are invaluable in helping you through that process, and maybe making some friends along the way!

My husband and I found our doula through the Nesting Spot’s database of professionals, we took a post-natal class that made us feel a sense of community and at ease with what’s to come. We plan to take another class or 2 and I plan to attend the parent/mom support groups and hopefully start some of the yoga classes as well. It’s been really nice to know that there is somewhere to go to build community which I know will be crucial as I embark on this new chapter in life!

I just completed Hannah’s 6-week postpartum series, and I’m so glad I did! I feel stronger, and each exercise was tailored to support my healing pelvic floor, which made a huge difference. It was a great way to ease back into working out, and I loved that I could bring my baby with me. The Nesting Spot also provided a wonderful sense of community for all the moms, making it such a supportive environment. I can’t wait to continue taking classes here, including mommy and me yoga, and highly recommend to any new mom looking to feel stronger and more connected!

I have just started going to prenatal yoga classes at The Nesting Spot, and I can’t recommend it enough! Everyone is very warm and welcoming, and I look forward to continuing yoga through my pregnancy and possibly postpartum as well. I took the Nesting Spots birthing class and worked with Caren for my doula care. I can’t speak highly enough about it, was worth every penny!

As a first time mom, I was very anxious about the entire birth experience. While excited to start my family and have a little one — birth was not something I’ve ever found beautiful or interesting. Having gone through two miscarriages prior, it also brought a lot of anxiety.

Caren immediately helped me feel supported and understood, and the birthing classes were thorough and made me feel so prepared. For me, it was helpful to have both the birthing class and Caren as my doula as it allowed me to stay present in the class but not feel like I had to take tons of notes or memorize everything — I knew she would be there to remind me or answer questions again as we got closer to delivery day

In terms of my delivery, absolutely nothing went according to plan — but I felt at ease (all things considered) and it was so helpful to have her come to the hospital so my husband could rest (he had been up 24-hours to watch over me while I rested and labored, won’t go into details.), to help with my mindset, and give me confidence through those first pushes.

My parents said it best when they met Caren and let her know how much less stressed and anxious I had seemed from the moment I started working with her! It was such a blessing!

I wish I started prenatal yoga sooner, but I'm so glad I did in my early third trimester. The Nesting Spot is so welcoming and calm. I have been thoroughly enjoying the classes by Ariel and have noticed an improved difference in my body and mind since I began.

I had a great experience at The Nesting Spot! I signed up for a prenatal yoga class and overall enjoyed the time spent. I arrived early and was able to look around the space which was very inviting and warm. The prenatal yoga class had time allocated to connect with the instructor and other classmates on where everyone is at in their journey ahead of starting our practice. Very welcoming experience all around!

I took my first prenatal yoga class with Marina last week. I really liked it! The class had a nice flow starting with breathing exercises, warming up to some more movement, and ending with stretching and relaxation. The owner Caren seems to really care about providing a space for mothers to feel supported. I'm excited to keep going back and watch this place to grow.
