CPR Training Center in Alhambra is fantastic. Not only do they go out of their way to show and teach you the class. They also have patience and accommodate you as needed. They were there for me when I needed them and instructed me on the proper techniques online and in person. This is the greatest spot for CPR. They are very reliable and responsible and are there like 24/7. Big 5 for them.

EDIT: Andrew got back to me and did a refund. He was understanding of the hassle I went through so he even went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with their service.

Unprofessional. I had scheduled an appointment and the instructor did not show up. I called and emailed and nobody replied. A few hours later, I got a text saying that the instructor had an emergency and if I was available to reschedule. Of course, in an effort to being an understanding person, I said it was no problem and to reschedule for later in the week. I had already paid through paypal and on the day of the rescheduled meeting it turns out that I had to pay again because it was a different instructor. I tried to contact them through email and text and nobody got back to me. They had promised a discount for the inconvenience which I never got but that's not really my issue. My issue is that they charged me twice and did not give me my refund.

Experience was great and I would definitely recommend. The instructor was very knowledgeable, honest and helpful. She gave us time to ask questions, after every practical application we did. The office was clean and the mannequins were disinfected every time we had to use share. I did receive my printable card via email the next following day.Thank you again!

This center and the instructor was great. I read the reviews before I came in. I took a chance and asked the instructors about the bad reviews. He said it's because students sign up at 1am, was not enough time to get an instructor at the center that same day unless the students signed up before hand or if their was a class already scheduled.

Short review: Gets the job done, but in a very unprofessional way. Would not come back again.

Long review: I found this place through the American Heart Association website. Because nobody picked up the phone initially, I contacted the organization via text (as instructed in the voicemail outgoing message). I scheduled a morning appointment for BLS for the following week. I was thrilled to find out that they had availability within the week. On the day of my appointment, I showed up to an empty place. I called the number and nobody answered. I sent a message asking if class was still taking place. About 15 minutes later, the person sent a text message with an apology that he/she had overlooked the schedule and that class would take place in the evening instead. I was offered a $10 discount for the mix-up, which I appreciated. I tried to be understanding--everyone makes mistakes. I later read reviews online and saw that this has happened before to other people so it doesn't look like what happened to me was an isolated incident. Although I wanted to take my business to another organization, I couldn't find another class that fit my schedule. I decided to just come back later that day.
The course itself felt a bit rushed. I was going for a renewal so I admit that I didn't find this to be a big deal. However, if it was my first time, I definitely don't think I would have felt like the course was thorough enough. The instructor did ask if it was my first time or not, so perhaps he figured I didn't need the full 3-4 hours of the course. The course took about 45 minutes to complete. The instructor asked us to write our name and email down because they only send out electronic certification cards. He said we would receive our certification by midnight. I received an email with the certification the next day, however my name was spelled incorrectly so I had to contact them again to make this correction.
Overall, I would say that I did not have a good experience with this place. I felt that the professionalism was subpar. I want to be as fair as possible--perhaps I just had bad luck, but I would not recommend this organization to a friend.

Tried signing up for a BLS course. Confirmation email said to text to confirm spot.. after a day and a half I received no reply. I sent a refund inquiry through PayPal and all of a sudden I got a text saying I was confirmed and that I had put down the wrong phone number. Ummm how could he have text me? Shady scam artist here. It’s been three days and still have not received a reply about a refund.
