We scheduled an acrylic paint class and it was so fun and informative. Barbara at Art for Fun provides the perfect balance between instruction and freedom to do your own thing. There are no prescribed paintings. Paint what's in your head and heart or peruse her idea books. She'll help you decide on colors and will even offer suggestions to get your creative juices flowing. I'm going back for a fused glass class. I highly recommend!

Art for fun! Classes have become the highlight of my week. I love being able to come in and work on whatever I want rather than having to follow a specific teacher demo or project plan. Barbara is a great teacher and willing to help everyone learn and create at their own pace!

AVOID! Overpriced, unorganized and terrible customer service. My friend and I were looking for a fun, art class for beginners. We walked into a 30-second 'how to cut glass' tutorial and that was it. No direction, no guidance...just here's glass and some tools...do whatever. The cheap safety googles they provide were dirty and scratched. When I put my mask under my nose to try to see the glass I was cutting, I was scolded like a child in front of everyone. Sorry...I couldn't see?! Almost walked out at that point, but gave them another shot. Ok, go pick another color of glass only to stick my hand on a grimy, greasy piece. I ask what is all over this glass and was told 'Whoops, how'd that get in there? That's Vaseline.' My friend and I were so disgusted, but were too deep into the 'class' to walk out. We finished our project and gave our number and email to be contacted when they'd be ready to be picked up. Six days go by, no response. My friend happened to be in the area, stopped by and was told 'The pieces were ready days ago, they were waiting for you.' Save yourself a lot of headache and go anywhere else.

I purchased time for my daughter to come and play in August. Unfortunately I never found the right time for me to actually bring her. I found my receipt and called to ask for a refund, most companies would say no, and they did right away. So nice that they did that, I will definitely be finding the time to do some art 🙂

It was great fun for me and my gal pals. The teacher, Andrea, was very helpful. We did silk painting. Would definitely like to go back and try glass and ceramic media.
