Loved everything about this location and this event! I got $7 free books and I bought merch! It was so fun! Fierce sign with pics were available. They also had vendors. My favorite thing was the sense of community. The art, the poetry, the music, the food and the FREE clothes! So cute!

Avenue 50 Studio...Local establishment showcasing Art pieces of various artist of different aesthetics, disciplines, and vanguards. The Arroyo Seco Arts Collective. You will like the intimacy of how art is presented...it is raw and meaningful. Location allows for a complete experience that leaves you wanting to explore further the art of locals or up and coming show pieces that are presented. Very interesting and intriguing...wine and drinks sold at rear of entrance...valet parking available. Meander through the various rooms...as you take in the local vibe of people and who's who within. Have a quick smoke break in the rear outside of location...as you take notice of Metro passing by and the siluette of the nearby Mt. Washington Hillside. Community...that's what makes this art gallery different.....it breathes. If you are there on visit....shout out to,"Hands Up." Christian Espinoza.

This local gallery is dedicated to showing and supporting Latino and Chicano artists. I’ve seen a lot of art here and it’s always quality work and thought provoking. Much of the art depicts or comments on the Latino experience in the U. S. and/or Los Angeles. A recent exhibit highlighted the plight of migrants and refugees. The gallery area has a couple of quite large rooms along with two smaller rooms. I think exhibitions change monthly. There’s always something new to see here. The gallery is also very active in the community and hosts alot of events like poetry readings.

A great place for words and the invocation of meaning. Perfumed verses are submerged in brain waves that become tsunami synonomis with origami, figures of swans in the form of stanzas.
We speak words that travel thru Avenue 50 studio walls and into the matte universe.
Places leave traces of themselves in the people who visit such places.
