Relatively new museum located in the Claremont Colleges. Beautiful building with interesting exhibits and they offer free admission. It’s a small museum so probably spend 30-40 minutes. I think if would be great if they put a cafe in their patio area.

Amazing free Benton Art gallery in Claremont! No need to drive to Los Angeles, beautiful artwork in our own backyard. Open garden area as well with sculptures. The students curators help with the exhibits from Pomona college. Definitely worth a visit!

Great experience. Wonderful art. Friendly and helpful staff. In galley staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Experience was made even better by Maddy who was pleasant, helpful, insightful, and thought provoking.

Had a wonderful time with friends here. We arrived on a weekday and were free soak in the exhibits as we pleased. The art ranged from traditional paintings to black and white night photography to mixed media collages— everything interesting, fresh, and unpretentious.

The space itself is light and airy, with two galleries showcasing specific artists, a courtyard, outdoor installations, and connected exhibit rooms. Although drinks are not allowed within the galleries, there are cubbies near the gender neutral restrooms for you to store your stuff. The restrooms themselves are spacious, clean, and well stocked.

Our group was given an outstanding behind the scenes tour of the Collection Vault by Steve, His humor , enthusiasm and knowledge made the tour extra special. It is truly a dynamic site for learning with its study tables and stools where students can interact with art . This museum is a must to visit. Even the architecture is people friendly with the wonderful space and lighting.

Small but so very delightful! Beautiful building with lovely spaces and a very interesting collection of art. Loved how they put together their "Night contains Multitudes." Very surprising curation combining modern photography with 19th century prints and etchings from Whistler and even a beautiful Adam Ansel landscape. Stretching across time, a wide geographic are and different media. Also very approachable and friendly staff. Highly recommend and will be back.

The staff are incredible, especially the front desk and the Security. The art is beautiful and the architecture of the building is a work of art in and of itself.
