I have LOVED my time at Clay studios SO Much! Lindsey is an awesome laid back teacher who gives each student time to play and create and just make mistakes so they can learn! Time in the open studio has been great meeting other potters and forming an awesome community! I was just out of town for two weeks and missed it so much! So happy to be back and with Lindsey, Kerry, and all of the Clay Studio family!

I am almost finished with my intro to wheel throwing class and I loved it so much I signed up for a fall session as well. JoAnn is an amazing teacher and is so easy to work with and a passionate instructor. All the people I've had interactions with have been easy to talk to and very helpful. You can use as much clay as you like to practice your craft and each class session also comes with the opportunity to attend open studio sessions. It's a wonderful value and so much fun the whole community of advanced and beginner clay artists are super supportive. I can't recommend the studio more.

Clay by Indigo Road exceeded all my expectations. I started by taking a couple of courses taught by Lindsey, the owner, and it was truly an amazing experience. Not only did I learn so much, but I also met some amazing fellow aspiring potters in my class. The equipment and tools are high quality and the studio itself is beautiful. The space is clean, calming and is decorated with Lindsey’s beautiful work. The staff members are incredibly friendly and helpful. I am so grateful for Lindsey and this amazing studio!

I have been taking classes at Clay for the last year and have had a wonderful experience. I have had classes with 3 different instructors and all of them have helped me improve my skills. I have learned how to create/glaze and completed over 30 pieces including bowls, mugs, vases, pitchers, plates, and planters. The people I have met in class are so fun and creative. I have a new appreciation of hand made pottery and a new hobby. Thanks so much Lindsey and your team for creating a vibe and community that I look forward to each week.

I have wanted to take a class on pottery on a wheel for forever and am so glad to have taken my first one here! The studio is bright and the atmosphere is welcoming from the moment you walk in. The class itself was fantastic as well! Lindsey taught my class on intro to wheel and instructions were clear and easy to follow. It’s limited in the number of students so the lessons felt very personable and easy to get feedback on how to improve. There is a lot of freedom to be creative as well.

Overall I cannot recommend it enough. It was such a good class, I signed up for another!

If there was an option for six stars, I'd give it!! My husband and I have been taking classes for over a year and we look forward to it every week. The instructors are amazing, the space is beautiful, the pottery the owner creates (and sells) is gorgeous. We've even learned how to make pieces that we can actually use or gift to friends and family. If you're thinking of learning to throw, you can't go wrong with Indigo Road 🙂
