I expect peace and quiet in a library, this is not the library for you. If you expect a decent selection of books, this is not the library for you. Obnoxious homeless people and a lot of empty space is what this library has.

Amazing my son loved it we even did some 3D printing got a new library card read a book and checked some out he took a goody picture for everyone aswell

Nice quiet library. Just visited for first time on Saturday but maybe the rainy weather has deterred many from visiting.

Saw a couple of very attentive security guards. This is good in my opinion because this should deter any misbehaving.

I did try to use a public computer for faster Internet but it wouldn't accept my card. I have a San Diego public library card. A man who worked there said I would need to fill out an application for a library card to use their computers.

El Cajon is not part of the San Diego branch libraries? This I have to try to figure out.

I have visited this library quite a few times. They have rooms to take zoom meetings as well photocopy machines, printers and computers. You can print pretty cheap, I think 14 cents a page. The computer lab is pretty big and nice and quiet. They do inter-library loan books and movies S well. They also have a 3-d printer. Check out the library!
And a nice bathroom. Always clean!

The children’s area is fantastic, and the staff is always very friendly. They have a serious homeless / people just hanging out issue, the security guard just stood there while a group of guys rolled a blunt and smoked it. Listen, this is California, do what you want, but I don’t want to see it in front of my two year old.
