This year I stepped in as a volunteer coach into a recreational soccer system of this organization. Wow!!! I do not have my own kid playing for the team, and do it for a love of the beautiful game and out of abundance of experience. I would NOT recommend this system to paying customer. Negative reviews appeared to be honest, as far as I could see, and the attitude of the leadership of the Recreational league speaks volumes for me. Arrogant, entitled family business approach is transparent. "Take what we provide and be thankful!". No responsibility, no inclination to improve anything, no love for the game, no concerns for the kids and their experience, not even an acceptance of the slightest idea that the zero quality of referees, that your program puts in power over the players, creates danger. Just a business. This is not a road to Wembley!

We were so excited to put our kids in a soccer league. So far the experience with this league killed all of our excitement. They give huge jerseys with out any option to choose the size or exchange for a smaller size. My son's jersey is below his knees and I had to sow his shorts so they wouldn't fall down. They refuse to answer the phone and won't respond to emails. They basically take your money, throw a jersey at the VOLUNTEER coaches which are just parents with kids on the same team and then wash their hands of any responsibility. They don't even offer guidance or even basic equipment .

For all of you writing bad reviews, try going somewhere else and I guarantee you will be back to Empire. Sure there are some communication breakdowns but with over 2000 kids playing in the rec program, it can be overwhelming. Both my daughters play on the club side and I do not know of a single coach out there who teaches the kids to play dirty. There are some dirty clubs out there and Empire isn't one of them. As for the rec side, yes it is volunteer coaches and I was one of them for 6 years. Like I have told parents in the past, if you don't like what the coach is doing, then get your own team and stop complaining. We have been at Empire for 7 years and we are not leaving!

HORRIBLE ORGANIZATION! Teaching their players to INTENTIONALLY hurt other players. As an organization, coach and parent, you should be teaching your players great sportsmanship. Win or lose they should always be a great player with a great attitude. Teaching them to play by intentionally hurting other players is a whole different level. Getting pushed or shoved or even getting tripped from other players getting the ball is normal, we all get that, but when itโ€™s INTENTIONALLY done and not coached or stop by the coach or parent, tells a lot about an organization in itself. Shouldering other players, intentionally trying to pick fights, cleating to take players out by causing broken limbs, grabbing and not just grabbing the shirt but grabbing and gripping any body part like the stomach and arms causing really bad bruising, really? This organization needs to be investigated and shut down. Kids are our future and our kids should not be taught to be sore losers or at worse to be BULLIES! Coaches of Empire Soccer Club, do better and BE BETTER. Empire Soccer Club, being bullies on and off the field should not be acceptable from your organization.

Itโ€™s fun for recreational soccer but apparently the head of this organization and his family like to rig the championships, Iโ€™ve heard from several families that they pick and choose their teams and win the end of the year finals, which is funny because thatโ€™s cheating but hey itโ€™s all fun games right, you can always tell which team has been hand picked.

This is our sixth year playing soccer and our 4th soccer league. Second season with this league. This is by far the best league we have ever played with. Games and practices are all at the same field, making it a thousand times easier to have multiple kids playing soccer. Parking is great and there is always a spot. There is no requirement for a team sponsor. The pictures are scheduled the week before games, are well organized and run quickly and efficiently. The jerseys are kind of one size fits all in an age group so usually pretty big but not a big deal considering how easy the league makes everything else for you. My husband and I have regular conversations about how much easier this league is to work with than past leagues.

Our team played this team during the last tourney, I was very disappointed in the way they played and acted along with the parents ridiculing our players. Very disturbing as they were out to hurt our players, tackling at the knees during 4 different incidents and causing a concussion to another players. 5 players attacked physically. Not to mention the way they and their parents trashed talked, laughing and ridiculing our players mistakes. Very poor sportsmanship and gamesmanship.
