Beautiful house to visit for an European. Interesting to compare to the original European culture. Important to the history of San Rafael. Great garden and great for events.

A treasure spot in San Rafael an amazing old mansion in great shape where you can enjoy art, gardens, look inside and rent a venue for a special occasion, wedding, anniversary, etc.

The demonstration gardens have different themes and were designed by Master gardeners in collaboration with UC. Great place to get ideas, inspiration or just relax.

The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the gardens being the masterful gardeners demonstration space. However the air is utterly unhealthy to breathe inside this place. This is why I read it so low. If you only enjoy the grounds, and the rental space in the back, this will not affect you of course.

Fantastic garden *must see*! So peaceful & quiet. Just be careful where you park! Got a $65 ticket in their parking lot for parking in wrong spot & not reading sign!
