Orderly even though 2 women went to the window we were supposed to go to. We patiently waited because they were impatient and didn't want to wait until their number was called.

Made me take my boots off and belt just to use the bathroom. You try disrobing partially and being frisked while needing to use bathroom. Was impratical, inconvenient not to mention embarrassing.

I was lucky enough not to be in a long line for social security administration. Mid day, it's pretty slow, as well as most mornings. Staff is respectful and knowledgeable. Security is very professional, friendly, and helpful.

Went to SSI but the security really upset me. Ran my purse 3 times then started taking things out of my purse then ran it through the machine again all for 1 damn lighter with a metal cover freaking really put my stuff out there for others to see and for a lighter. So he just was so disrespectful to me and my personal items in my purse. You bet next time I just take my dang wallet. Rude.

Be sure to check ur bag or purse b4 u go in...it will take longer if they find anything thts not allowed in the building. For instance the found one shot gun shell in my purse. So we had to take tht to the car. The security guards were real nice about it!!

Building is nice, however SSI office only had 3 people working the windows. I was lucky I got there right when it opened. About 10 minutes later at least 20 ppl came in.

I had to make an in-person visit to Social Security. (I rode the public bus from Spenard to C St and 8th, downtown, and back home again without any hangups.) Be prepared to wear a mask while in the building. There is also a security check point that one must pass through to gain entry. The staff was helpful, patient, and kind.
