I came here and asked to leave my truck while I went on a solo long road bike ride, bought some fuel for the ride and checked out their massive shop. Interacted with Shaun one of the Techs and he was helpful with my route. Talked to some dude after that was rad and he ends ups being Dallas that owns the shop. After my ride I had no camping available, another technician named Jim drove me to an amazing local camping area after he got off work. The shop is huge and well versed in all Big Bear activities and overall things and places on the mountain. I would recommend this shop to anyone that wants to be treated like you are a local. I will come here every trip I take just to say whatssss up!

Went in for a repair to a boa on a pair of 4 yr old boots. Jen had a can do knowledgeable attitude. Got us educated on the the issue and the repair and on our way. Great experience. We did buy the boots there 4 years ago. Great products / knowledgeable staff.

It's so beautiful in Big Bear. You would not know there were fires around. Rent a bike from Goldsmiths. Fast and good customer service. Thanks Jason!

Great business / great owners / great location / great equipment. We are newly local and rented some e-bikes from Goldsmith’s. Very Reasonably priced, great location to jump on the Alpine pedal path, friendly staff, and all of the equipment was like new.

We will probably buy a couple of their used bikes when we get a little more settled up here but when we have guests this is where we will take them to rent if we all want to ride together.

Highly recommend, two thumbs up.

I had such a great experience at Goldsmith with Dallas getting fitted for ski boots I didn’t even have an appointment my boyfriend was the one that did and he was able to squeeze me in. Dallas was amazing!!! super kind, knowledgeable, patient, and really listened to what we needed. He explained everything as he went and made sure the fit was perfect. I left the store so excited to hit the slopes. If you’re looking for someone who really knows their stuff and cares about getting it right, Dallas is your guy!

I’ve been coming to Big Bear for 20 years now and Goldsmiths Sports ALWAYS has the best. The best what? You may be asking. “Yes” is the answer. The best prices, the best gear, the best customer service. They’re the best and they’re located right in the middle between Big Bear and Snow Summit. You couldn’t ask for a better experience.

I drove 3.5 hours for a professional boot fitting experience, for Snowboard boots. I met with Jim and I left very satisfied and pleased with his services. Even as a skier, he was able to provide a wealth of knowledge of Snowboard boot fitting and I feel more confident now purchasing a new pair. Thank you Jim and Goldsmiths for a wonderful experience! We had a wonderful experience at Goldsmiths in Big Bear this past Mother's day weekend. It was my Mother's Day wish to go on a family bike ride with our entire family. With our one year old we were in need of renting a baby carrier for the bike. From the moment we walked into Goldsmiths we were greeted by three friendly smiles and were set up and ready to go in under 20 minutes. Absolutely wonderful experience and highly recommended. ?
