The lobby and elevators were very nice and clean. The room was excellent, clean, and well done. AC worked very well with plenty of pillows. We used our phone as a key to get into the hotel side outside door and our room. Everything worked very well until the day we were going to check out. The key stopped working a couple of hours before checkout, and we had to go down to the lobby twice to get a temporary card key. The system logs you out before the actual checkout time

This place and the service are decent. Good bed, clean room, but a bit dated. The only real complaint is that bed frame corners are kind of sticking out; it's easy to bump into them. I put some towels covering them after the first night, so no more bruises on our legs! For this reason, I would say it's not kids friendly.
The hot water was only light warm the first night, but somehow it improved the next day. Overall I would rate this place 3 1/2 stars.

I’m currently staying at the hotel and I had an issue with the water hose . I was taking a shower and the water hose was loose and almost hit my head i!!! Beside that the water was running all night from the shower. Wasting water is a huge issue in this world this hotel apparently doesn’t care.I couldn’t sleep because I was able to hear the water running all night. For some reason they gave me a handicapped room and the shower is not safe for a handicapped person!!!!. The shower curtains are ripped off the restroom is not updated at all . I feel like I’m staying at cheap old motel. I paid almost $400 for 2 nights and the service is not even worth $1. The young lady at the front desk this morning was rude. I reported the issue that I had last night to the front desk person and this morning I talked to her about it I asked her if she can please transfer me to another room and she said NO. I told her that my Dad is partially blind and the shower was going to be an issue for him because is not safe . She has a really bad attitude and she is rude . Later she said maybe I can transfer you to another room but it has to be now ( 7:15am) I asked her if l can see the shower for the new room and she did NO!!! She didn’t give me too many options she asked me to comeback later 9:00 am. What a awful customer service she didn’t care if my Dad is safe in the shower if they don’t transfer me to another room my Dad safely will be blame on this hotel. I work for a multinational corporation and we have a contract with this hotel every time that we travel around the country they book us in this hotel I’ll have to talk to our headquarters to tell them what happened today at this hotel and scale te the issue with their upper management at Hilton safety should be their first priority.

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Inn located at 2000 Solar Dr Oxnard CA 93036.
We checked in on 11/23 and checked out on 11/24.
We stayed in room 521.
The stand up lamp closest to the chair didn’t work. The hot water never got hot enough where I had to turn it down which was kind of cold for me.
I left an unopened bottle of wine. When I called to see if house keeping found it and turned it in I was told “all they found was an empty bottle of wine”. I was very shocked and let alone disappointed, I was told “the bottle, it was empty”.
I assure you the bottle of wine I am referring to it was never opened!
I asked if they have Continental breakfast in the morning, I was simply told, No.
No explanation why or that they offer anything for breakfast. Plus I was shocked “all candy $5.00” all non alcoholic drinks (small bottles of water $5.00). My gut feeling told me to buy our drinks and snacks for the night, at the 7-11 just down the street.
I don’t plan on returning here again.

The hotel has really gone downhill. Dogs are all over & they don't have designated rooms for pets. Sneezed all night. Dogs barking. Hilton, please get a designated floor for animals. It smells. |The gym equipment is broken. It was broken 6 months ago. We went down to breakfast it's freezing. They said heater has been broken for over week. The only great thing about breakfast was our waitress Lulu. |My husband has been a diamond member for over 10 years. We are most likely going to look for a new hotel chain.

The unfriendly front desk service at this hotel immediately reminded my family and I as to why we switched from Hilton to Marriott Bonvoy. Unfortunately, all the Marriott-branded hotels were booked in Ventura for the night so we stayed here. Without going into detail, I’ll summarize our experience as this: If a guest says “thank you” during check in and you can’t even muster a “you’re welcome”, or at bare minimum a smile, you should be fired. And if while unpacking an entire case of the hotel’s complimentary bottled water in front of said guests, with one of them being a child, be decent and offer a bottle. We all know what a bottle of water costs today…

Definitely not the service we have become accustomed to with Bonvoy.

Overall a good experience. We were given a Handicapped accessible room without being told. Would have been nice to have the option. The bathroom was not working for our needs because of the accommodations made. The room was clean the thermostat would not allow us to lower the temperature. We reported the concern. Was not able to be fixed during our stay.

I had issues checking in due to the third party who booked the room not having a card on file for incidentals. It was not an issue for me as I was not far from home and could drive so I left initially and then returned when instructed by my employer to give them a card. The entire time I was going back and forth with front desk was like dealing with teenage girls who could not be told anything. They gave me the worst attitude and in such a childish manner I am astounded they even showed up for work. The manager who I talked to kept cutting me off and talking over me with her employee smiling/smirking in the background, I am glad she at least had an enjoyable experience because I sure did not. The manager ended up raising her voice at me when I asked her why she kept cutting me off and talking over me. She yelled at me "because you keep repeating yourself and not saying anything!!" I asked for a complaint form and they stated they have no formal complaint system at the establishment and to email it online. That manager is the most unprofessional employee I have ever dealt with and as a consequence the employee that works the front desk is also unprofessional and conducted herself in a manner that says I can do whatever I want and the customer can kick rocks. What I am trying to convey here is that management at this hotel is non-existent/childish.

This being a "Hilton" I would expect much more from at least the room if I have to deal with such pretentious and condescending employees which is another aspect that I found humerous. This place is a dump from the walk off mat at the entry to the bed sheets. The bed cover had some kind of stain on it that resembled blood, the T.V. belongs in a museum and the room had a damp, musty heaviness to it that reminded me of the abandoned properties that get rehabbed and change branding.

The water was not hot when I needed a shower it was adequate but only with the spigot all the way on to hot.

Having said that I don't mind issues at the price point paid but the service and the room were absolutely ridiculous in comparison to the price paid. I have had better state at the Ramada, Comfort inn, Marriot ect.

Run dont walk away from this place and make sure to lock up any valuables as that parking lot has people roaming in the A.M.
