What a wonderful establishment right in downtown Los Altos. I've taken 3 classes here with Stephanie, Erika, and Kimberly to learn how to sew with serger basics, make a knits scoop neck shirt, and construct a whole quilted coat. Each class has been incredibly wonderful in its instruction and I've learned so many valuable skills, tips, and tricks.

All the people who work at Needles are so encouraging and helpful. Thank you to the Needles team for bringing together sewists!

Erika has made the most fabulous store for crafters. The store offers a wide variety of fabrics (truly wonderful styles), sewing classes, embroidery kits and items, cross-stitch items and so much more! I love walking around and finding items that I wouldn’t have stumbled upon while shopping online. Bonus, Erika is a gem of a human, and it’s always great to support local shops.

I had a delightful experience talking with Kelly (?) in the store while I picked up fabric for a dress I’m making. Will definitely consider coming here more often as the store gives a great supportive community vibe.

Extra: If you are a fan of strawberries or butterfly/moths patterned fabric, they have a wonderful collection of these right now!

I found this store on Google Maps and checked their fabric selections online and went into the store to purchase it. We bought this beautifully patterned cotton/linen blended fabric that I hope my dad can make a shirt for me. The store owner/clerk was super friendly, helpful and patient. I saw she was helping another customer choosing and putting on buttons on her quilted jacket. I really love that store and hope to buy more fabrics from them!
