Unfortunately my experience here has been horrible. The entire time I have been attending (1year MABS) they have sent me my financial aid almost 3 months late 3x with almost zero contact and a complete disregard for me. They don't answer the phone, don't email back u til months later and the emails are just filled with lies. It is so upsetting and has set me back financially an incredible amount. It is a daunting process and I have even reached the point of severing my affiliation with them halfway through my Master's program which is so sad. Has anyone else had this experience

I attended a SUM Cohort. For me, it was everything that I could have wanted in a college experience and more! When I graduated, I was able to walk onto the stage and accept my diploma knowing that I not only had plenty of practical ministry experience, but also plenty of great mentors that still speak into my life.

For a person willing to work hard and take responsibility, I can think of no better Bible College experience than the one that SUM offers. It will stretch you, change you, and prepare you for life in ministry.

SUM was a very significant catalyst that initiated my salvation. I was just visiting for Spiritual Emphasis and felt the presence of God for the first time, even though I grew up in church. SUM started my walk with God and is now equipping me to go and make more followers of Christ, as well as giving me the knowledge I need to walk with God to the fullness of what walking with God means. SUM has much to offer and is worth taking a moment to look into if a life in ministry is something you feel called to or would like to pursue.

SUM Bible College just has me in awe of the humility and compassion reflected by teachers that really care for their students and take time to share personally experiences that have prepared them for ministry in regards to each class. SUM provides you with opportunity to grow not only in knowledge but in love for others you encounter day in and day out within and outside of ministry. This is a place where you are challenged and stretched in different areas of your life through hands-on ministry ultimately allowing God to mold and shape you into the man or woman of God he has called you to be. SUM Bible College is not just training up future ministers but an army of God's people who have answered the call to be his vessels that which will bring forth healing, restoration and love to a hurt and dying world through Jesus Christ.

Its one of the best bible college's out there. Not only do you get to get an amazing education in a close nit community, you are able to get practical ministry skills that are applicable directly after you graduate. No longer will you be confused or worried about if you have what it takes to be successful after college but you will be confident in the abilities that you've honed while getting an affordable education. The worship, practicums, spiritual atmosphere, and impact is a evident that God is moving in this place. Check us out!!

Although, I love the Professors and the way they approach teaching relationally. I am very disappointed with the business office and some of the representatives that have mislead me concerning financial aide. I have seen schools thay were great academically speaking yet the business end was sub-par and they fail. I should never have to feel this way about a school but, I do. I am actively looking for another school. I am still enrolled and doing classes but, looking for other options.

I would NOT recommend this school to anyone unless it is your absolute last choice. This is honestly close to a joke, the reason why I say that is because their professors are not experienced whatsoever! The price of the school is extremely too high for the type of education you get. This school is definitely only for a few, I would compare some of their cohorts to the Westbrook Baptist church. Christian extremism at its finest. If you want a somewhat decent education do not go to this school.

My husband, who is a disabled army Veteran, attended this school for two semesters. This school treated him like he was not good enough for them because he was disabled. He tried to explain to them that he couldn't stand on his feet for prolonged periods of time and the dean of students refused to make any accommodations for him and also repromanded him for not going to a class that required him to stand for hours on end. They dropped him from other classes he was taking wid-semester and later reenrolled him. The first semester they didn't give him his financial aid until the semester was over, due to "forgetting to write the check" as they told him. The next semester they decided not to report him as a student to the VA for half of the semester, so he couldn't get his GI Bill and they took his finacial aid to pay for the classes he was attending instead of the GI Bill paying them. After bringing this all to their attention, we found out that although taking his financial aid money and him attending classes for half the semester, he was not even in their system as a student. This school has caused so much hurt and stress to my husband and family. I fail to see how this school can call themselves a Christian school when they can justify beating down on a disabled war Vet. I do not recommend attending this school if you have any disabilities at all, because they will only make things worse for you.
