I really enjoyed the place, like- The murals on the outdoor walls, the creative front desk and the touches of uniqueness in the room. |I live that they do not use scented laundry products. The room and bathroom were clean and I hope they put the same unscented qualities into the cleaning products. |Dont expect big towels, maybe bring your own. The pool was heated to 85*. It looked nice. The feel was kinda quiet and country except for bright ugly lights on neighboring buildings. |They are doing a great job there|I’d definitely go again.

The people working were all really nice. We had a good experience with the customer service. Nothing crazy amazing but was arguably the only good thing about our stay along with the indoor pool for the kids. Okay the positives are over.

This is a warning, SERIOUSLY. If you like a comfortable mattress or expect this at a hotel, DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT book this hotel. The mattresses were legit lumpy and hard. They give the minimum amount of pillows. Two per bed. On a mattress that uncomfortable more pillows are necessary. No extra blankets were provided. It was a place to lay our heads but the best western around the corner is much more comfortable.

Onto the pool area, the LOUDEST indoor pool I have ever experienced. It is impossible to even talk to someone sitting next to you. Not sure what the issue here is, and it was absolutely freezing sitting in that room. Nevertheless the pool was warm and the kids loved it.

The continental breakfast was very simple, it wasn’t bad. It wasn’t great but not bad. Very basic options. The milk for the cereal wasn’t on ice which bothered me.

So my takeaway is to completely avoid this place and spend the extra money at the best western.

The Redwood Riverwalk Hotel is a true hidden gem and a perfect retreat for any traveler. What started as a one-night stay turned into an entire month of enjoying this exceptional property.||The hotel boasts floor-to-ceiling artwork and murals that beautifully depict the region’s local agriculture, industry, and native tribal history. It’s like staying in a gallery that celebrates the heart and soul of the Pacific Northwest. The east-facing garden view rooms are an absolute highlight—you’ll feel as though you’ve taken a midday nap on the Pacific North Coast and woken up in a cozy cabaña in Ensenada, with long string lamplights dimmed just right to set the mood.||The barbecue picnic areas are thoughtfully designed, with plenty of seating to accommodate even a family reunion. Pet owners will love the spacious, fenced dog spa and relief area, complete with paw-friendly gravel and a sunset view that’s as relaxing for humans as it is convenient for pets.||The property is clean, quiet, and well-maintained, offering a sense of security that’s perfect for families and solo travelers alike. It’s also LGBTQ+ friendly, pet-friendly, and ideal for extended stays. The continental breakfast is fresh and tasty, and the location is superb—within walking distance of restaurants, a full-service market, and stunning scenic trails.||This is a smoke-free property, but the staff’s flexibility with occasional parking lot puffers shows a welcoming and understanding attitude toward all guests.||From the artwork to the amenities, the Redwood Riverwalk Hotel goes above and beyond to create a warm, inviting atmosphere for every type of traveler. Whether you’re visiting for a day or a month, this is the kind of place that feels like home away from home

I gave it a 4 because the TV didn't work and the blankets on the bed were really thin and I asked for an extra blanket and never received it so I ended up turning the heater up on 80. But other than that the stay was good. I'll stay there next time I go.

Pass on this hotel........ online pictures may look good........but we have nothing positive to say about this property. |Paper thin walls. Cheap uncomfortable old mattress ..........beds very low to floor. Cheap old bedding and pillows. |Needs updating EVERYWHERE. |Ice machine was broken...........|Heater in our room made an awful grinding noise at night........ so had to turn off the unit. A miserable night of sleep. |Breakfast was the worst. Yogurt was in a bowl ....not individual yogurts. Not healthy.|Look elsewhere.

So I’ve to say the hotel is dated little bit dirty here and there, but I can close one eye on that, what I can’t stand is how rude, bad and unapologetic the know as well as the owner, she didn’t have any knowledge of costumer service, just start to shout and get different behaviour when u make her notice something, I’ve been coming regular to this hotel for the past 3 years w my group of friends, we always booked a minimum of 3-4 room while we explore the redwood forest, but after last time we will not get to this place anymore, simply cause her attitude and behaviour is gonna be the downfall for this place!!
For the rest the White ginger lady at the desk in t he morning is such a lovely and kind person as other members of the staff!!!

Be aware of the Indian lady w her attitude that resembles the way of how she will speak to someone consider as lower castes compare to he….

Kind front desk staff (Dan) who accommodated us when we got the date wrong. The only hotel I stayed on my west coast road trip with a nice pool and good tv channels. Large and clean room! Would recommend.

Management harassed me for days after our stay due to me asking for our pet deposit to be refunded for our service dog. Wanted to know what disability, what the dog does, ect. Never refunded the money. Extremely rude, felt harassed and extremely triggering to the trauma my family has already gone through. I would not recommend staying here if you suffer a disability with a service animal.
I wouldn't recommend here due to their horrible customer service and cheap breakfasts. Just a no.
