Great place for woodworking tools & small machines. Bandsaws, drum sanders, Festool & sawstop to name a few. Great selection of Mesquite slabs and AZ walnut slabs. Decent selection of hardwood boards as well!

Needed a bit of particular lumber for a upcoming order. Although they dont always have the best prices or deals compared to other woodworking companys it is always a pleasure doing buisness at this store! Always genuine, always polite, always helpful! and that is always worth the extra cost in my book.

Love this place. The staff are experienced, friendly, and helpful. They have lots of beautiful specialty and exotic woods for sale. There is a large variety of quality tools, including some tools from Japan. The prices reflect the quality: it's not the cheapest place in town, but the items in their inventory will last. I've spent lots of time just strolling the aisles and looking at their wares. I recommend you do the same!

Love this place! I spent an hour browsing and speaking with staffer Sharon. First off, she didn't grimace when I told her I make miniatures - happens in other shops with similar supplies & tools! She helped me figure out how to make the tool I need, something not available for minis. Can't wait to go back and spend a few bucks on useful "toys"!

It's a decent store. The staff are knowledgeable and usually nice, they can be a bit standoff-ish though and previously I had a bit of a condescending interaction with one member. It's about a 45m drive for me, so when I make the trek up there I really want to make sure they've got everything I'm looking for. This is where they sometimes don't shine. I feel that a lot of the time they might have one of say...a saw. They might have 4 different brands of that type of saw on the rack but they only stocked one of each so the other three are sold out and the only one they have left is $80. The others started at $15. This is just an example to illustrate the point but you get the idea. They also tend to be a bit more expensive, but I can get past that since it's local and a brick and mortar store where I can see and touch what I'm getting. Overall I like the store and it's a decent resource for supplies and hardware if you're not shopping online.

This is my favorite woodworking store. I'm still learning, and the staff here is so helpful.

For example, I stopped in to inquire about making a handle for the knife kits they offer. Josh walked me through the entire process in a way that even I, as a beginner, could understand.

It's a shame that there are negative reviews regarding masks. There is plenty of room in the store to maintain a safe distance, and I am not concerned in the least about my safety when I shop there.

The store itself is ausome. It's like looking at a catalog in person. We found the staff to be standoffish and boardering on rude. There are other stores in Tucson to buy hardwood from. If you are looking for hardwood with a friendly helpful staff. DON'T go here! Google someplace else!
