This review is long overdue! Since 2024, this hotel has been my go-to choice whenever I need a place to stay in San Diego. The customer service here is consistently excellent, and the rooms are always clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. One of the biggest perks is that I can bring my dog with me, which makes traveling so much easier.

What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the exceptional service provided by Harmony at the front desk. From my very first stay, Harmony has gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome. She is attentive, professional, and always quick to address any needs or questions I have. Harmony’s warm and thoughtful approach is a big reason why staying here is the best.

Hotel property is clean and fresh. Nice area, easy to move around. Staff at lobby and Borrego are friendly and eager to help (kuddos to Maya and everyone at Borrego for a FANTASTIC job every night!).

However, housekeeping...we had an issue with them EVERY DAY. As much as lobby staff wanted to help, housekeeping is just not up to par.

The location of this hotel is excellent! It is valet parking only, but that is understandable with where it is. The 9th floor bar is nice and has excellent views. My only concern is that the hotel offers 500 bonus points per day for “Greener Stay”, by not having housekeeping. I did this every day and did not receive any points for this. I asked multiple members of the front desk staff, and all stated that they weren’t trained on this and would pass along the request to their manager. A week later, and no points. If you’re going to offer a perk/reward, at least have your staff trained to do so and not be dependent on the manager. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely visit again.

Very much enjoy this hotel stay. Well, there was some confusion at the desk regarding check-in and credit card deposits the rest of the day went smoothly. I found the neighborhood and Hotel Indigo to be dog friendly. I enjoyed the Acashi bowl for breakfast. The room was large and cozy. The room was clean. I’d come again and stay at any the locations.

Super friendly! Harmony was so helpful! They upgraded our room and allowed us to check in early which was so nice after a long morning drive up. We got complimentary water and referrals for things to do in the area. Will definitely be coming back to stay again soon.

We enjoyed the surrounding area and it was easy to use transportation to access other parts of the city. The hotel is modern and has two great restaurants. The patio bar is nice. The staff were terrific and friendly - shout out to Jenny and Harmony at front desk and Sergio in the restaurant. Super friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for 4 nights in December and were very happy with our stay.

We were a family of three and the room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed.

The hotel itself was in a great location (very close to Petco stadium) and had lots of amenities. We didn’t end up using the gym, but the snack bar in the lobby was great. We got two complimentary waters every day, up to $15 worth of snacks and our package had complimentary breakfast.

The breakfast was by far the best part of the stay. I was expecting a continental breakfast with muffins and toast but we got a FULL breakfast - steak, eggs, toast, potatoes and coffee - everyday! Sometimes we got lox and sometimes we got the açai bowl/fruit parfait and all of the portions were delicious and generous!

The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay here again next visit.

With the exception of lacking some minor toiletries (face wash, etc.) The hotel was a great stay. The staff was great, from our ceck-in, to having breakfast at Table 509, the staff was wonderful. I want to especially thank Sergio at Table 509. Sergio was friendly, courteous, and took time to provide us with directions to our destinations and offered recommendations to additional dining options.
